Incident is a malicious activity detected by IDS which may escalate to disaster or crisis with higher degree of severity if not appropriately handled. A common mistake in nowadays deployment of IDS is to spend capital money on acquisition without proper maintenance and utilization plan. The proposed research topic will discuss on the utilization plan to integrate alerts produced by IDS into business continuity plan to provide better avenue for incident handler to increase effectiveness in applying defence in-depth in incident management and to improve organisation resiliency..."
